loved the pool area, staff was helpful in getting me another flight. Great access to skytrain and close to Oriental Pier. Swan exceeded my expectations from previous stay in Bangkok.
Language barrier with staff.

I liked the food the best.
some extra costs could have been clearer, i.e. what was the spring water as opposed to regular water (free)

Only the location I liked. The Manager was a very friendly person.
The air condition was malfunctioning. There was no lift .There was no coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was hopeless. The attitude of the receptionist was not good.As we checked in,my wife and I had to convince the lady at the reception about the child policy that a child below 12 years can stay free of charg if they use the same bed.however your invoice indicates that the room has been booked for 2 persons. This confuced the receptionist.I Hope we dont face the same promblems on our next holliday to Jakarta,Bogor,KL and Kuching in April on 2013.

The location of Swan Hotel is excellent, with easy access to the BTS and river boats. It is also situated in a central and interesting area. The swimming pool is a great facility, especially for families. The staff, in general, are friendly and helpful.
It felt like a home away from home - no complaints.

I like overall staff and Manager who was really helpful, he guided us properly about tourist places specially for families. He understands English well and responds too. The breakfast was very nice with cool juices and fruits. The lobby area was also nice place to sit.
Yes, Internet was not free, they were charging 60 bhat's for only one hour and 40 bhats for 30 mins. So, I think wifi-internet should be provided to guests free.

There appeared to be a newer nice wing, but I was paced on the top floor (no lifts here) in a very old and very poor room. Probably good to check to see if you are in the nicer or the poor area when booking. Also I think? They advertised an airport shuttle which they don't have and when I tried to get them to book a taxi for me I was quoted 500 Baht for the trip. (I walked to the main road and caught a meter taxi - 250 Baht including airport surcharges and toll roads.

The hotel is well located near the river and the skytrain station. It also has a swimmingpool very comfortable for the hotel price. A good choice for a stay in bangkok with the family or the girl/boy friend.

I recently stayed at The Swan for a few days and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the riverside area and the French embassy, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great beds and pillows. The housekeeping is top-notch and the bathrooms have good water pressure and hot showers. The breakfast was delicious and the option to dine by the pool was a nice touch. The pool itself is large and well-maintained. Additionally, the hotel staff was kind enough to let us keep our room for a half day before our late flight. I highly recommend this hotel for its location, amenities, and excellent service.
I can recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in the Silom area, which is quite a quiet area. It is also very close to the river, making it convenient for exploring the main attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a view of the nice swimming pool. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is satisfactory.
The TV in the room is quite old and the remote only works for some channels.

Big room; good pool; good location for ferry rides and near the french embassy and others).
No wi-fi; the shower had no pressure to take a decent bath; they do not call you a taxi - you have to find one on your own; the breakfast has a very limited choice. Se puderem escolham outro melhor!
